| | | Help ID Bird of Prey!!!!! My partner recently spotted a bird of prey on some cliff tops and we really want to know what it is.
Its between the size of a kestrel and a buzzard, brown in colour and white under wings. It was hovering like a kestrel but without the quick wing flaps. It had its tail fanned whilst hovering then as soon as it moved off the tail feathers went straight back into a closed position. We think it had a nest on the cliff tops and just wondered what bird it was.
if anyone knows please let me know....thanks! |
