I spotted a bird the other day I have been unable to identify. Similar in size and shape to a collared dove but charcol grey with a grey beak. Eyes were black no visible colour around them. Didnt see legs or feet. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction please.

Sounds like a Juv Collard Dove to me.
or was it a Stock Dove?

are they all dark charcoal in colour

Some are darker than others, younger birds may be darker, they do have that black beady eye and dark beak. |

Stock Doves don't have grey bills + are larger than Collared Doves, same size as Feral Pigeon. |
