| | | Re: Flocking Starling's Went to Ham Wall/Shapwick Heath (Somerset) on Friday whilst on holiday, probably 10,000 or so at Ham Wall, not uncommon (so I was told!) to see up to a million towards the end of the year! Incidentally, I can recommend a lovely little caravan park high up on a ridge overlooking the Levels if anyone is interested!!

Perhaps Sutton Park, or out towards Water Orton ! |    to true yes I loved the sound of the starlings as they settled to roost on the buildings in town and I never got hit by one if you know what I mean
We have seen spectacular starling roosts at Radipole Weymouth

| | | Re: Flocking Starling's If you feel like travelling to Scunthorpe (yeah, I know) you can see them heading to the steelworks. They roost there every night because of the warmth. I'm sure any industry that gives out that type of heat will be a fave for them. |
