| | | I'm thinking of going 'bird station' Hello all,
I have had all of my feeders either hanging from tree branches or from brackets but i'm thinking about purchasing a real station, and I would preferably want one that has a fork at the bottom instead of a single spike so that it would ensure sturdiness. Would anyone know any online retailers?
Thanks, Charlie. |

You'll be so glad you switched to a station very soon - I bought mine in the summer and had the pleasure of laughing at the noisy young starlings and now we get tits and one very friendly greenfinch.

| | | Re: I'm thinking of going 'bird station' I got a mesh seed tray that fits onto the pole the birds love this.
I get a great tit, cole tit, dunnocks, wood pigeon, sparrows, robins and blue tit.
All use the mesh tray as well as the hanging feeders the tray has wildbird seed and the hanging feeders sunflower hearts as this cuts down on the mess left under the feeders. |

| | | Re: I'm thinking of going 'bird station' I finally got one a few days ago, all of my tits, sparrows, dunnocks and robin have realised the feeders have moved and they zoom straight into my garden, into the apple tree and then onto the feeders. Hopfully, I dare say I might even be able to see a sparrowhawk more often or even attract some finches which I never seem to get. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
