| | | Re: Carsington Hi daffy 66,
I go to Carsington almost every weekend, it is very nice. They have three carparks, Sheepwash is free but has no facilities -there is Paul Stanley Hide, Sheepwash Hide walking one way and then Lane End Hide walking towards the main visitor centre. The main visitor centre is charged parking at a rate of £4 for 4hours or more, i think (I bought a season pass) - there are plenty facilities at the main visiotr centre + shops, there is a glass fronted hide full of info not far away and the RSPB usually have scopes and bins in there at weekends. Millfields carpark is charged at £2 a day i think and is at the other end and there are toilets there and a coffee shop which is not always open. There are no hides nearby but there is a bat tower! I enjoy the walk from millfields.

| | | Re: Carsington If you want to check what birds are there at the moment have a look at this site Sightings-Current
At the entrance to the main visitor centre there is a board with latest sightings too. Hope you enjoy your visit.
