whats this goose

there was only one and it was at etherow country park

Sure is! Certainly around me (London area) this species has dramatically increased in the last decade.

Moring Bornwild,

What they said! I saw my first in the grounds of Hampton Court Palace last year, a group of about eight. Very noisy birds!

If you logon to schoolstube dot com and search on 'urban' you should see a few of my videos and the 'common' one has a family of Egyptian geese on Wandsworth common. I also got some in the local park and they are SOOOO loud

I know they are also quite common around Rutland Water + parts of Norfolk.

It's probably just me, but I always think that Egyptian geese are, ahem, well, not the prettiest birds around

Had one recently at Old Moor,Barnsley in with loads of greylags. Stood out at mile though as it spent all its time chasing crows off !! Plenty of attitude always goes down well with me.
