Magpie fight
Had an interesting experience this morning; 2 Magpies fighting on the ground being watched closely by 9 other magpies, 4 crows and a rook. It had all the appearance of a playground fight, with spectators crowding round egging the combatants on. I watched for about 7 or 8 minutes and it was still going on when I left.

my absolute favourite group of birds for this reason.

blow your eastern crowned warbler - I'd rather watch a sight like this any day

Interesting observation and as said by others a wonderful group of birds. At times you with magpies in particular you can almost see then thinking.

The You Tube vid of the magpie mirror test is brilliant.
