Wow that is wonderful, I watched a small flock of starlings today while at the traffic lights, it was all the pipping horns behind me that made me stop! |

Great to watch, especially with Sparrowhawks and Peregrines taking a few here and there. |

Probably my fave site in birding. Spectacular!!! I love it to when the Peregrines move in. Once seen 3 way above the flock just hanging in the air almost motionless. At the exact same time they all stooped and attacked the Starlings. Awesome sight. Does anyone know if they are roosting at Gretna this year? I think there was around half a million at it's peak last year. |
