| | maddening magpies I live in West Wales and want to encourage small birds to my garden. One or two tits come to my peanut feeders, but if I put anything else out, there is a whirl of black and white and the magpies take the lot. What can I do? |

| | | Re: maddening magpies plus if you want to feed on the ground you can get one of those inverted shopping basket things with hesh big enough for blackbirds and thurshes but too small for maggies
That said maggies need to eat too and if you feed them they are less likely to predate small birds, nests eggs etc
