coal or great tit?

me again! sorry to bombard with questions but you guys have all the answers! now this i think is a coal tit because i can't see the great tit black stripe on the belly and the check markings look coal tit-y to me, but im not sure cos the photos not that good, it'd be my first coal tit and im new to this bird ID thing (if that wasnt obvious :P)

Hi again.

I'd say Coal Tit.

There doesn't seem to be a black stripe down the front and the black on the head doesn't form a complete circle around the cheek.

Colours aren't great in the picture, but it does look like a Coal Tit. The size also says this. Lovely little birds.

Cycling back from Middlesborough today, saw a load of Long-Tailed Tits, must of been ½ doz or more of them.

woo - long tailed tits are awesome, we have loads most mornings raiding the berry and apple trees in the garden :P

yeah, long tailed tits are probably one of my favourite birds, just the way they all move throught the trees together and the fact theyre so animated. great fun to watch. nic coal tit too, i'm yet to see one

haha yeah, and their chubby little faces and bodies! i saw loads in a tree in the woods the other day, it was pretty awesome, i didnt know we had so many here. also saw a deer really close - yay :P
