First Fieldfare
Pleased to say I saw my first Fieldfare of the season and in fact ever today , of all places in the car park of Oldham hospital feeding on what I think was a Swedish Whitebeam. Couldn't see more than one but it was only whilst driving past.

Lovely birds aren't they? Just posted on 'Bird of the Day' I saw my first of the year in a large flock with Redwings yesterday.

Yes they are , now all I need is to see a Redwing. Even though thousands visit us every year they still manage to evade me.
