blue tits have returned to box seem very industrious one spends some time just seeming to be looking out have never seen the birds back at this time of year i am very curious what s going on |

Checking out roosting sites maybe - quite a few species are known to roost in nestboxes, especially over winter.  |

The blue tits in my garden only use my boxs for roosting every year..
They never nest in them. |

thanks folks maybe we are in for a bad winter not forecast though. hope they do nest. will miss them if not. i feel so protective to them |

our blue tits were right on the button first time they have roosted and whoooo have they got the weather prediction right their box looks like an igloo clever birds pity our forecasters cant get it right | | |
