We have recently purchased a house in Somerset with a dovecot in the garden which has 3 resident white doves.
The dovecot is quite large and whether or not they go inside i do not know. I have only seen them either sitting on one of the perches or on the roof or alternatively on th eroof ouf our house.
I know nothing about doves but really want to make sure that they are cared for properly.
They fend for themselves at the moment but obviously as the wintder draws in it will be more difficult.
Please can anyone tell me what i need to do as regards feed, bedding etc.
Thanks
Nick.
