I knew she'd fly off if I attempted to go outside to get a better shot. Just opening the door would have alerted her. I've watched her before and she's pretty exausted by the capture and plucking all the feathers. It would have been unfair to risk disturbing her meal at that point.
We do get some great views of wildlife from our Kitchen, I really must make a point of keeping the window glass crystal clear in future. |
