When I went to Minsmere earlier in the year I got a terrible, terrible photo of the back end of a bittern...but it's still special to me because it reminds me of a great day and watching some fantastic birds. Kingfishers are special birds - congratulations |

I am not surprised though as its my first attempt. but I have made 7 minnow traps that are getting set first light today so I can try again. Yes I did make the pool (if it can be described as that) myself. Its a cut of from the main stream thats only 6 inches deep. I simply just made a circle of pebbles just higher than the water level and put 3 fish in. I am glad I didnt get it right first time, it would be boring if it was easy.
