| | Close encounters of the buzzard kind!!!!! Hi
I know that this is not going to help anybody in any way but I had the most amazing experience yesterday whilst out walking the dog along the local roads.
Living close to the countryside, I walk my dog around the country roads everyday and see lots of interesting wild life (and many more lunatic drivers)!!
Yesterday whilst walking the dog and I came upon a buzzard sat on a low tree limb as we quietly walked passed he took flight and flew beside us (well about 3 foot to my left and 2 foot above head height), he flew like this for about 2 min then rose up about 30/40 feet and just circled over head.
There seemed to be no urgency in his flight, it was as if he was just enjoying the beautiful sunny morning.
I have never experienced anything as wonderful as this, he was so close, his face, those eyes, everything, one experience that I shall never forget.
Just thought I would share it with people who share the same love of our wildlife as I do.
Thanks. |

Jason | Sorry, got to ask How do you end up with a buzzard in your lap when riding a motorbike I`ve had wasps/bugs in my face (as a pillion rider) but a buzzard
