However, it's already stuffed full of birders! I found it difficult to find nice habitat to birdwatch in without bumping into lots of other birders - sometimes I find it's nice to get away from people and that seemed to be quite difficult - though I suppose if you live there it might be easier to find the hidden away places.... |

At the other extreme I used to live in Co. Cork for a couple of years and I think in two years birding out there I only ever met one person out birding when I was just out for an exploritory walk... That was weird. |

That was weird. | I went on a BOU conference to Cork and was amazed on driving around a muddy and presumably tidal river, seemingly full of waders right by the road seemingly unperturbed. I could just stop the car and watch them merely feet away brilliant! |
