maybe not quite sharp enough, but the theme is excellent all the same, well captured anyway Fudgey. Believe me, most of my short end up like this, it seems I never quite get the exposure speed quite right or the birds refuse to "hold the pose" whilst I take it

Hello Alan,both are good pics first the sillohette almost there a little more work with the dark tone slider in photoshop to darken it down a touch will kill any sign of highlights still showing otherwise well done on this..
The pic of the kites in flight again almost there ,a hard subject to photograph so dont knock yourself taking pics of birds in flight takes a lot of practice and you have nearly got there so keep practicing.
Well done on you 2 shots especially for the length of time you have been at the photography keep at it

If I had taken that I would have been cross that I couldnt see every feather. The kites are a great image.

yeah great picture either way! i like that its called 'KITE FIGHT' in capitals too!
