| | | Re: Patience is rewarded Not really much more anyone can addd to all the comments, the photographs are supurb, obviously a good camera and especially lens, (Would like to know the specs of both if possible) and the thing that makes them as near perfect as can be is the down to the photographer.
So Ollie, or as some folks have called you, Roger, Brilliant and i am so envious of your skills.

BK  | Many thanks Beekeeper,. Camera is a Canon 40D, lens a Canon 400mm f5.6L USM lens with a 1.4x tc attached, manual focus as the lens won't auto focus with the tc unless I tape the pins then it's a bit hit and miss. Don't use the tc much but in this instance it was necessary as the bird was too far away for the 400mm on it's own.

| | | Re: Patience is rewarded nice sequence ollie. i managed to get a pic of kingfisher too unfortunately the auto focus got the fence rather than the bird so its a touch blurry. managed to see it make a catch tho like you but did not get anymore pics as it was just too far away . well done again.
