Identification please
I think this is a juvenile greenfinch, but I'm lousy at bird identification. Confirmation would be appreciated. It was sighted today in Sussex. Seems young for the time of year.

Did it have pointed tail feathers? Only joking, this is a great shot of a 1st winter Greenfinch.

Thanks guys. He was a beaut. I'm sorting out the shots from today, and have him doing everything from preening to admiring himself in a water bowl.
