Egg Identification

Hello,
I recently found an abandoned nest in between my fence and the Chiropractors clinic next door. It was on the ground and contained 12, 4cm long white/very pale blue eggs with a few brown speckles. We live in a very rural area but the drive this nest was on is pretty busy with the clinic and a lot of builders at our house. Does anyone have any ideas?

Sound like Pheasant eggs to me.

Thanks I thought it might be one of those species but its in a pretty busy place so I was unsure.

At 4cm it wont be a pheasant, Im pretty sure it would be the Red legged Partridge as Jenny W suggests.

Red legs don't mind busy places, they have nested on our industial estate every year yards from where the burger van sets up every day and even closer to a dhl depot.
