Martins preparing for migration
Sorry not my photos and about 3 weeks late but my friend took these at Wimpole Hall, Cambridgeshire, hundreds on the wires apparently, an impressive sight which I wish I'd seen.

Me too. The few that used to nest near my old office are now longer there due to rebuilding. High-rise flats

Saw a flock of around 30 martins plus a few swallows yesterday, all busy feeding up ready to go.
