help please [found two intact eggs]

i need help. i have justfound two intact white eggs with no markings, each is about 4 cm long. one has a small hole in it and the other is fully intact

i am wondering if anyone could tell me what type of birds they are and what i should do with them.

They will be Woodpigeon eggs. Take it you found them on the ground? It sounds like they have been predated from a nest, but for some reason the predator (crow, magpie etc. most likely) has not gone on to eat the eggs - maybe disturbed.

You should just leave them where they are as it's illegal to possess any birds eggs and they will provide food for something!
