Exclamation Balding Blackbirds
Hi Folks,
No pics as yet, but I have about 4 Blackbirds which are nearly bald arround their necks and head, now, I know that they are viscious fighters but I haen't seen this before in both sexes, and tey sometimes feed together could a disease cause this or is it genetic??
Has anyone got any thoughts on this?

Most likely due to moulting. Its fairly common to see blackbirds with bald heads around late summer/autumn.

I cant remember what the problem what thought to be but if you search the Bird forum on 'Bald blackbirds' there have been a couple recently.
