| | | Good day in ye ole garden! Since having my knee replaced ten weeks ago I've just had the usual suspects in the garden feeding (sparrows, starlings, gold & green finches and a couple of Dunnocks) but today it seems some of the old favorites are back! In one half hour slot this morning I saw not only the wren that's been missing for months, but the robins and Nuthatch too. What a pleasant morning that made with the only exception being the juvenile goldfinch who tried to fly through the patio window, with a bit of a bang, shook his head and went again!

| | | Re: Good day in ye ole garden! thanks for the kind comments Big Bill, it does seem that I'm destined to spend hours in and around the garden with the old leg recovering. |

| | | Re: Good day in ye ole garden! Hi from another "kneeite". Hope you have a good day - the forecast is good. I have chairs placed around the garden so I can just sit in between doing things, and always take my camera with me. It's surprising what turns up! Now I have time to sit and look I see a lot more. Take it easy and you'll be dancing by Christmas!! |
