| | | telephoto lens? I have a family of bull finches which visit our seed feeders but they are very shy. I have a Kodak P850 camera with 12 x zoom but at max the pic not always sharp and cant get good close up. I would like to buy a telephoto lens but dont know what distance or type. I have a 52 to 55mm lens adaptor. Can anyone help? |

| | | Re: telephoto lens? Hello Tetrach not sure on this camera but from what I can gather it will take wide angle and zoom extension lens attachments if so then what you are looking for is the telephoto extension for the camera.
If you post this question in the photographic equipment forum you will stand a better chance of getting more answers, also welcome to the site enjoy it we try to please and be helpful but the photography forum would be your best place for an answer best of luck

| | | Re: telephoto lens? Thanks Big Bill. I realised my mistake after posting and discovered photography site! Have posted message there. Cant find telephoto lens from Kodak on line..all show unavailable so guess its "old" equipment and has been superceded by new cameras and lenses. Tried several shops but no one rang back. Would you guess there is a recession?? Your reply much appreciated. |

| | | Re: telephoto lens? If you cant find a suitable lens, you might consider didgy scoping. look at the Scope and skyes site. You can get a reasonable 60mil scope and adaptor for a digital camera for less than £80!
