| | | fishing line danger During a recent visit to Scarbourgh. I managed to get out a little with the camera. During this time trying to photo sea birds I found a badly decayed gannet wrapped in fishing line. And then started to notice a lot of the gulls and even small waders with missing bits of toes and even full feet. Some with fishing line still visable. I have to say I was really suprised just to see how many. Pretty sure all the fisher men on WAB clear up. Lets hope all fisher men
get into the habit of tidying up.

It was the amount of birds that I tried to photograph in a short amount of time, that seemed to have suffered from discarded line and indeed those that were suffering. Take a look at the feet on these poor Turnstones one has lost toes, the other is in the process of losing toes or even its leg.
