what job did you want when you was at school

hello everyone what job did you want to do when you was at school. i always wanted to be a gamekeeper as ive always been intrested in nature mainly birds but finished up a time served engineer and now drive.. for a living . rossy.

This should probably be moved.

I didn't know what I wanted. I guess like you I wanted to do something wildlife orientated and in a way I might still end up doing that (starting a generalized biology course in university in a couple of weeks).

I also wanted to be a vet, a palaeontologist, a fire-fighter, a biochemist, one of those people who study wild animals in the field in their natural habitat (don't know the title) along with many others that I've forgotten.

I imagine like the majority of youngsters, I didn't have a clue what I wanted to do.
When your in your early teens, jobs are the last thing on your mind and you don't really think about the future, as all reason and logical thought go out of the window, as at that time in your life your hormones are jumping out of your trousers.

I wanted to be a Psychotherapist....till I found out it was all one word..I thought it said Psycho The Rapist....instead I ended up as a construction project manager..and love it. Gives me time to spend with my horses and on my current site, watch birds all day

I wanted to be...lol .a Nun.
I told my parents and Father who was a Scientist .was not pleased.

Ended up nursing in the Queeen Alexandra`s Royal Army Nursing Corps. Now I am a Aromatherapist.

I wanted to be a newsreader for a time, until I realised my stutter would make it impossible

Then I wanted to be a teacher before I realised I didn't really like kids

Then at 15 after doing voluntary work for Mencap I realised I wanted to be a care worker, left school at 16 with 11 GSCE's A-C being told by everyone I was wasting my life not going on to A-levels & uni and have never looked back!

Wow, I wanted to be a nun before I decided upon marine biologist and then I too went into QARANCs , not an aromatherapist now tho, nor a marine biologist sadly

i always wanted to drive steam trains. instead i ended up working in a garage in ecclesfield. managed to get to drive the train though. i was a volunteer at the midland railway centre for a few years.
