Just watched it on blighty. What do you make of him and the programme? He's daft as a brush, eccentric, but I like him and his enthusiasm. The quality of his footage ain't the best, but I never miss an episode. If anyone just watched it did you notice the first Red Kite footage and a few seconds into it he cut to a buzzard and he said " look at that red kite, unmistakable" brilliant  |

Was this the series that was on the Beeb? I watched all of them - at first I wasnt sure but as you say his enthusiasm keeps you watching. He is just sooo happy with his little piece of land!

haha i saw that episode and that part where he's in the welsh valley lol
i have to say i think its a great programme and very interesting
he's so passionate and does make me chuckle

Did you notice the part with the Buzzard?
my mate read his book and said it was a good read. Seemingly he was a bit of a lad in his day, a bad boy poacher and did some porridge. |

I've got the book 'A Wild Life on Exmoor' - I thought it would have been ghost written, but it does sound like him. Quite interesting.
