| | | Female Robin Query Hello! Could someone please tell me what a female robin looks like? I always thought the female robin was all brown!
I have a regular robin in my garden, 2 younger brown fledglings- now grown up and feeding by themselves and another brown adult who likes running in the bushes.
Today, they were all out together which was nice.. like a family-day-out.
Will the robin eventually want to drive them all out of his territory? |

Female robins are identical in plumage to males. Yes the local resident adults will eventually drive off the youngsters once they have attained their red breasts. In winter female robins will sing as well as the males but only males do so at breeding time.
Cheers,
