Sitting in my garden with a long cold beerand just counted 17 long tailed tits in my willow tree....never seen them before...usually blue tits and the like but really great to see them. Even my wife was impressed..and that aint easy!!!! |

They are great little birds. I saw a couple of flocks (with Blue+ Great Tits) this morning around my local patch. Hope you get more visitors. |

I was delighted one evening a while back when about 3-4 visited the feeders, and stayed in the garden for about 10 minutes. I had never seen them before but sadly have never seen them again since. |

I mention in another post that I haven't seen any LTT yet this year  I usually get them though so heres hoping. They are lovely little birds, they look like flying teaspoons with their golf ball body LOL.

We had several regularly visit the feeders in the Spring, none since but I expect them back at the feeders late Autumn or early Winter.

Now you've got me thinking Ron, I cannot remember whether they were here in spring or not  . My fella said he can hear them but I have not seen them on the feeders yet. At least they are around
