Mandarin or not?
I'm not sure whether this is a young male Mandarin or an adult with lost plumage! Help please!

Hope I'm not going to confuse another of your threads but I think this looks like a couple I had ID'd
waterfowl, duck - Wild About Britain Pics

they were ID'd as mandarins in eclipse.

It is indeed a partial eclipse drake Mandarin.
