| | | I saw a dipper!!! Spent a few days in Brecon Beacons and the highlight for me was to see a dipper. 
Okay image not brilliant but a record shot for me.
We also went into a hide and nesting inside were these swallows.
The hide is used on a daily basis and it doesn't appear to affect the birds. |

| | | Re: I saw a dipper!!! Congratulations, it's a good feeling to see something new. Dippers are a very common bird where I live and I see them every day at the bottom of my garden, where they fly up and down the river, mind you I would love to see a Nuthatch, that would be a first for me.

There are plenty out in Derbyshire, at least in the White and Dark Peak areas, each with their own section of the river ..... I see them regularly. So keep looking, you will eventually get to see them. |
