An invasion!!

After a quiet few weeks my garden has just looked like a scene from the Birds Blue tits, Great tits, Blackbirds, Chaffinches and Goldfinches have descended en masse.

My feeders have gone really quiet - Ive gone from filling them once a day to once a week now

I guess its moulting season, coupled with lots of natural food around for them.

Same here. Incredibly quiet for well over a week now. Even walking through the village today there didnt seem to be many birds about.

Still at least it offers a chance to stock up. I'm sure things will change in a few weeks.

My birds were quiet last week but are now very regular, the Coal tits and Greenfinches too now, but I haven't seen any Long Tailed Tits yet

I watched a wren flitting along the hedge and in and out of the trees for quite a few minutes today

Was the same here quiet had the occassional Blue Tit and Chaffinch plenty of House Sparrows still have but others are now starting to come back again Blue tits Chaffinchs,Coal,great and Siskins all appearing again
