Strange "bird"
Got a shot of this "bird" yesterday? It lives in the City of London. Anyone know what it is?

You're thinking of Buckbeak - he was a hippogriff - only half griffon. Yet another creature of myth and legend that Ms Rowling didnt think necessary to acknowledge to her young readers.

He (or she) is a dragon and guards the City of London on the boundary with Westminster.
