I'm glad you cleared that for me. I was watching a male sparrowhawk gliding and riding on the thermals over the city center today as if it was just stretching its wings. It all seamed pretty casual the pigeons didn't scatter and only a few Corvids took to the Hawk being over them.
As i watched, i noticed something on the roof of a building in the distance caught the hawks fancy as it hovered over then circled the roof top before deciding to move on, it eventually dropped below the building line over an area that happens to be park land
Any of those local to the portsmouth area will know this park as Victoria Park.
