| | | what bird Hi - I am trying to identify a bird I spotted today on the Isle of Islay. At first glance it looked like a swallow but much larger -maybe on par with a Sparrow Hawk. It had a deep forked tail like a Swallow and appeared to be black (or dark) and white. I had thought of a swift but i thought their tail had a shallow fork.
