| | | Bittern Those of you in the North-West might be interested in this Bittern news: Moore Nature Reserve
Its a lovely place by the way, with some really keen wardens. A bit tricky to get to though.

They are notoriously difficult to spot though and even worse to photograph , manys the morning I have spent (or "wasted" as my ex used to say) sitting in the hides at rye house march in the lea valley with nowt to show for my efforts except hypothermia
