| | | Re: Identification Required Similar colour markings to a blue tit? So has it got a blue back? Yellow chest? I can't think of any bird with similar markings to a blue tit that has a vivid red head. The only bird I could take a stab at is goldfinch, but it's nothing like a blue tit. Sorry I'm not much help. |

| | | Re: Identification Required Lesser spotted woodpeckers, and young greater spotted woodpeckers have red heads... but I wouldn't say they were simular to a blue tit |

| | | Re: Identification Required There's also the Redpoll's. The Lesser redpoll maybe, although again I wouldn't say they were similar to a Blue Tit, I'm just going off the "red forehead" Redpoll image search

Whereabouts is your motorhome parked? |

| | | Re: Identification Required Could it be a young Blue Tit that has lost all its feathers at the front of its head? Depends how similar the rest of it is I suppose |

Can photographs be posted on this forum ? | Photos can be posted. Best to upload one to the Image Library, as these can be used immediately in any posting/thread. There's a link near the top of the page that tells you how. Basically, click on Gallery, then on Upload Photos, then click link to upload to image Library and so on. Once you've uploaded you can either copy and paste the forum code from beneath the image, or click on Library Images icon in the panel to the right of where you type your posting and a window will pop up with all your Images. You then just click the one you want inserted. Hope you manage it from all that rambling |

| | | Re: Identification Required Hiya, I often see Goldfinches in my garden socialising with Blue and Great Tits so my guess would be a beautiful Goldfinch one of my favourite birds | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
