Odd Gull out - ID please

At Portree Harbour, Isle of Skye today. Thanks in advance for any ID's.

Hi LF,

It looks like a Glaucous Gull based on the apparent larger size, black-tipped pink bill and short tail. Maybe the location is good for this gull, too?

Any other shots would be good.

Yes it is; I would say a first summer bird.

Yes, on closer inspection I removed my play-it-safe of 'Most likely a Herring'.

Editing posts is time limited so the edit button is only there for about 15 minutes after posting then it disappears.

Yes Jason it was at the harbour in Portree with the other gulls ..... and it liked chips that tourists were feeding the others with.
