this little chap flew into our window this afternoon and is now sitting in a shrub looking a bit dazed! it is very small (smaller than most garden birds e.g. robin and sparrow), appears to be a fledgling but i'm not sure what it is.

chiff-chaff it is then. never seen one before so pleased with that  .
the fact that it was bit stunned allowed me to get close enough to get a decent shot with a compact point and shoot job.
