Unhappy woodlark/skylark
Can't decide if this is woodlark or skylark. Thought skylark on first light but maybe I am trying to get a first for me with woodlark.

Looks a bit different to the skylarks. Has a white corner to tail and I am sure white stripe goes to back of head but!

Picture took about 2030 last night so not best quality and vegetation got in way.

Looks more like a Meadow Pipit from the photo. What made you decide it was a lark?

Yep, thats a Pipit, most likely a Meadow.

Looked at Meadow Pipit and agree that is what it is. Get quite a few so don't know why I decided it was a lark. Thanks for putting me straight.
