Thought i would share a couple of shots of this long tailed tit, it made a change to see them in a natural setting beside the lake rather than perched on a feeder in the garden.
The tree was absolutely full of them, in excess of 30. Think you will agree that is some tail!!!!!!!   |

Lovely shots. Not seen many since late Spring but they will be back to the feeders soon

they are lovely shots, i also saw a small group of them last weekend, i love to see them woking their way through the trees, upside down rght on the end of the twigs. |

Not just a lovely sight, but I love their call which almost always alerts you of their prescence. Is that tail really bigger than normal or is it just a deceiving pic? It does look bigger than the avg to me. Super shots. |

It looks like an exceptionally long tail to me!
Talking of tails I have noticed that some of my garden birds seem to have longer than normal tails, Chaffinches and House sparrows mainly I wonder if anyone else has noticed this in their garden birds?
