| | | A first for me-Juvenile cuckoo!! On my walk this morning in the local country park couldnt believe my eyes when I came across this juvenile cuckoo!Photos are not are not brilliant but nevertheless am absolutely chuffed I managed to get these images. It flew into bushes where I saw a dunnock dart into it too.The ensuing noise told me it was feed time, just a pity I could not see the event
Incidentally the colour of this bird is puzzling me-is it normal colouring for a youngster or could it be a hepatic female juvenile? Now that would be amazing!!
