| | | Blue Tits - Nest Hi
Just had Blue tits nesting in a box for the first time in my garden, they have since all fled! Nothing left in the box but the nest.
Do I clear this nest or leave for next year or anything else?
Advice please?
Cheers

| | | Re: Blue Tits - Nest As suggested by the RSPB, we clean our boxes out in the autumn, and rinse them with (plain) boiling water to kill off any mites that are there.
In the Index to our website, there's a link to an RSPB leaflet that has lots of information about blue and great tits. |

| | | Re: Blue Tits - Nest As suggested above would leave cleaning out to the autum and then with boiling water to kill any parasites and bugs
