| | | Re: What bird is this? I'd go for blackbird too. I have not seen many blackbirds with white feathers (does anyone know what the correct term is for this?) but I have heard it is not uncommon.
Sometimes they look a bit scruffy. but in some the white feathers are symmetrical. |

| | | Re: What bird is this? The offical term is Leucism or Leukism and is a lack of pigmentation in the feathers it affects a number of different species of bird and animal but is most obvious in Blackbirds simply because it shows up so well.
Albinism is a different condition animals usually have pink or red eyes and it affects the whole animal rather than just patches. |
