Do birds tavel for food in the winter?
I was wondering.

Do birds such as tits and finches travel in the winter for food? (Not including migration)
Or do they stay roughly where they are?

I suppose that wouldn't really be the case obviously because that specific area would run out of food soon enough. So do they travel? And if so, how far?
