Best Goldfinch food?

The ones in my garden always go for the niger, even though there are sunflower hearts on the next feeder.

I am new here but I am old about the goldfinches
the goldfinches are attracted to thistles,teasel,groundsel,sunflower,dandelion...in nature

but in your garden birdfeeders containing niger irressistible to goldfinches.
sunflower seeds mostly are attracted to greenfinches
goldfinches attract mostly to sunflowerheads on its insects

what foods are attracted (and nestling)to the goldfinches in the gardens ?
just the birdfeeders not enough irrest to goldfinches
they love dandelion very much
they love thistles,teasel,sunflower........
if you have big garden and if you plant of these (thistle,teasel,sunflower,dandelion) and if you always provide their water
they even their nest of your fruit trees or plane-tree,elm,birch,or palm trees or others in your garden.

I originally attracted Goldfinches into my garden using a niger feeder but since I introduced sunflower hearts the Goldfinches normally only eat niger seeds if the sunflower hearts have run out, or there are too many other birds eating the sunflower hearts.

The niger feeder is very popular over the winter when the seeds are eaten by Siskins (who also eat peanuts and sunflower hearts) and Redpolls (who will only touch the niger seeds).
