Whenever I read something like this, I tend to think that there is more to the story than is reported...for example, why would two men be out on a farm at five in the morning?
I despair.

Also read in paper today of a youth with tennis racquet in hand caught on cctv entering a school's chicken run and beating the chickhens to death with the racquet!!!
Its awful to know that there are people out there that do these sort of things-why?????

I despair. | i agree - i wouldnt be suprised if it was a revenge hit by badger baiters, or illicit hare coursers that he had previous taken action against.
ive heard of other incidences where livestock has been shot, machinary and cars vandalised, and hay stacks or barns burned by these delightful individuals after action was taken against them

An old chap near me made a few pennies from his chickens eggs, they were all slaughtered by a gang of kids two months ago. Because he asked one of the kids a week previously not to throw garbage into his front garden.
