| | | Photos from my Turkey Trip I took rather a lot of photos on my Turkey trip and a good percentage are on the British list. I also took a lot that are not on the British list, some that are even very rare, or none existent in Europe. Sadly I will have to leave those out unless I am allowed to put them in the foreign nationals Gallery. I will have to check on that.
Anyway I will upload to the Gallery and add those photos to this thread as I go along. It will be a slow process as I have nearly 2,000 photos to go through.
The first two are Golden Oriole and Spotted Flycatcher.

| | | Re: Photos from my Turkey Trip A few more photos from the first few days in Turkey.
Lesser Grey Shrike
A very scruffy looking Woodchat Shrike.
2 images of an Isabelline Wheatear
Finally one of my favourite birds. A Roller.
There is still a shed full of photos still to look at so there should be plenty of photo's placed in both the mailbox and this thread.

John | Great photos, John. Why don't you upload the non-british ones to Wild About The World?

Jenny | I will be doing that anyway. it would have been nice to have done this thread to show everything we saw.
Still, I suppose I can start a thread in the other forum as well.

John | Sounds like an excellent trip John .... at least something positive from the last few weeks given what you came home to.
By the way, great photos .... keep them coming.

The best birding trip I have had by far. When I get my head sorted a bit more I will post some of the highlights. Hopefully I have photos of some smart birds that are not even possibly seen in Europe, such as Finsch's Wheatear. Have a look for that bird in your field guide, or the internet. Smart bird but that is well into my photos and I haven't had time to check that far yet. Quote: |

Richard | I will. Some of them will have to go into the sister world site though so I hope when I do go into there that I have some good photos for you to look at.
